Shrek is such a funny ogre. Real ogres typically don't have that good of a sense of humor. I think Shrek HAS to be funny to make up for how ugly he is.

That is like my cat, Boner. Everyone in my neighborhood hates him because he is ugly and has the mange, but they just don't get how funny he is. He got ran over two years ago, and when the vet took x-rays he found out that he had broken his back once and had a bullet stuck inside him. The vet said that he was probably run over and shot by mean people, but Boner is such a rebel stuntcat show off that anything could have happened.
That cat sounds like a real gangsta cat, what with the drive-bys and all.
I never even knew Boner when he got shot. I just found him in our garbage one day, and he stayed around cause I give him the food we throw out. But, he's not a gangster, he is more of a prankster. Like, last weekend when my dad got drunk and passed out in the hammock, and Boner jumped up on him and puked up spam and olives on my dad's face and shirt. It was awesome because when my dad woke up he wasn't even mad at Boner because he thought he puked on hisself. If he knew it was Boner, he probably would have thrown him on the roof again. But, Boner just played it cool, like he didn't even know what happened.
